“All things come from God, through God, and return to God.” (Romans 11:36)
Romans 11:36 is not an abstract spiritual soundbite. It’s a technical statement, describing the overarching mechanism of God’s creation. Pure, unified source energy emanates from the godhead and descends into ever greater density, creating the perception of separation.
At its densest level—the world of fallen humanity—the energy reverses direction and ascends back to the godhead, taking with it all those who are able to keep up with the ever-increasing vibration of the energy.
This reversal occurred through Jesus Christ, who embedded the missing energy of connection to God into the planet through his life-giving death. It has taken 2000 years for humanity to reach the point where it can genuinely begin to embody Christ.
This is nothing other than the process of evolution through devolution.
When this is understood, the wildly differing depictions of God in the Old and New Testaments reconcile into a cohesive whole. The Old Testament charts the descent into Darkness; the New Testament the return journey into Light and the establishment of the New Earth—which is reunion with the godhead.
Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam (c. 1511) depicts our separation in the tiny gap between Adam and God’s fingertips. Through Christ, we have the potential to bridge this gap.
Welcome to the ROCI21 Bible—a work very definitely in progress.
